Customer Question

I have a Neff SD13J1f dishwasher which has only been used about 6 times over about 4-5 years. Now when you press the power button no lights go on, and nothing happens when you press any buttons. when you lift the anti flood float, the pump does go on, and sometimes when you switch the power on, you hear a slight click from the water inlet solenoid. What is at fault, I do not have a wire diagram, so hard to trace.

Hi Mike, thanks for posting that... can you firstly disconnect the aquastop to ensure that it is not blocked.. if it is, clean it out then reconnect it..

Let me know how it goes
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Hi George There are 2 filters on the unit connected to the tap, I presume that is the aquastop, both are clean. there seems to be water in the left side tank, about 1" from the top.

Ok mike, then the issue you have is with the Control module part number #495747 or its wiring I am sorry to say
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Hi George is that the unit underneath the door next to the pump, or is it at the top of the door with the control buttons?

Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 1 year ago.
The wires go under the door into the base... check there are no breakages there...

The control module is at the top of the door under the buttons... If checking thecontrol module, look for capacitors that are domed on their tops

Hi Mike, how did you get on with checking the wires and thecontrol module?
