Do you have the cover removed?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

No

Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 2 years ago.
you need to remove the top cover..

There are a couple of screws that you also need to remove from a bar that runs across fom side to side above the clock.

There are a few screws under the front of the fascia, above the grill door.

Remove the knobs, or turn them in so that the front can come off
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

There is no bar or screws and the knobs do not come off!

The knobs are oval shaped knobs are they not?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes they are

Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 2 years ago.
Ok, if you can't get them off, just turn them so they are straight up and push them in so they are flush with the front of the appliance.

Have you removed the top cover yet?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I cannot remove the top cover. That was my original question.

Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 2 years ago.
By top cover, I mean the metal cover on top of the appliance...

Chris, I am going to have to leave (I have been called out).

I can open this to someone else or you can await my return ...

If you are in the UK I can pass you my work telephone number if you need to contact me...

What do you wish me to do?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
