Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

This may not be good news, sorry
Are you able to pull the unit out?
We can then check a few things
Do you have, and know how to use, a multimeter?
How old is this?
Thanks
Rob

I can pull the unit 4 screws and it comes out I do not have a multi meter but can get hold one later today. This sounds as if it may be terminal.

Hi
Well, lets hope !!

Get it out
On the back is an insulated box or cylinder. Remove the cover and youll see two right angled heaters next to the cooling unit
Connect the 240v first to the correct terminals on the terminal lock
Wait a minute and see if one of the elements is heating up.
BE CAREFULL they get very hot

If it gets hot, disconect the 240v and then connect the 12v to the terminal box.
Check if the other one is hot
Let me know what you find OK?
