hi Daniel, thanks for drawing. really strugelling with timer connections, no obvious layout relevence to timer. veiwed from the side connection pinsare layed out as follows

top 1 spade linked with solder joint of timer

next row 2 spades

next row 3 spades, all 3 linked together and to another soldered joint on timer.

next row 1 spade

bottom row 2 spades

Ok you need to have a good look at the timer and next to each tag will be a letter and number.

Looking at the wiring diagram they use 2 types of timers so you need to go off the number next to the tag on the timer and match it up to the diagram.

They dont list the wires on the timer as position as you can see.

yes A,B,C across the top and 1,2,3,4,5 down the side.

Ok if you have them number and letters then you need to use the timer ref number thats in the brackets on the timer section of the diagram

So Eg

B5 is black and white wire

C4 is black

And so on as to what it shows in the diagram.
