Resolved Question:

Dimplex Cavendish CSH20 opti-myst fire
Two points that I require your help on:
1) Opti-myst will not function on its own even when it is on the correct setting. There is also heat being blown.
2) On of my lights will not function. The three other lights are working OK. Looks as though there is not a connection being made on the light. Have changed lamps but this makes no difference.

Hi Joe, how old is your Opti-myst?
Also are you saying that when its hooked up the unit constantly blows air even cold air around all the time and the unit isn't responding to the controls?
Please let me know if any of the controls are operating as they should and which ones are working if any.

All the controls are working but when you only require the flame effect and opti-myst on I get the one bleep for this function but I also get the heat coming through with the fan.

Fire is around 5 years old

This is a failing main control board.
Its easy to replace with just a few basic hand tools, I will help you with this.

Hi Joe, that is more than likely due to the main board as well.
Once you replace that board, let me know how it goes and if it also fixes the light;-)
