Hello My name is Ian ~ I am not on the site constantly so please be patient whilst waiting for responses to you queries ~ OK you haven't told us what is wrong with the fridge, is it not working on battery power or have you another problem?

When you say it switches off do you mean that the system shuts down at 12.5v or that the thermostat is switching it off at 12.5v? ie it is cooling OK or that it shuts down at 12.5v. If it is shutting down at this voltage and the battery is OK and is holding then you have an electronic module fault as the module is set to switch the unit off at 10.4 volts and automatically switches it back on at 11.7 volts.

No its not going off on the stat

Red light flashing

The compressor runs for a sort time

Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 2 years ago.
OK question ~ when the compressor starts up do you hear a clicking after a short period of time ie within 5 - 25 seconds and the compressor goes off?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I would say longer than 25 seconds

I would have to go and time it, I don't hear a click

Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 2 years ago.

OK can you get around the back and get to the compressor?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

yes

Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 2 years ago.
OK I need you to check that it is warm not hot and that it runs and that a click is not coming from the compressor rather than the thermostat.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The fans running for about 30 sec

The compressor kicks in for about 2sec

When it was running ok with 13v the compressor is warn not hot and cooling the fridge ok

Not had the reply to your last question

As I said earlier, if everything else is working the problem is with the control pcb which will have to be replaced ~ Ian
