Resolved Question:

I have a Neff wok burner N24K35N0/40
I want to change the jets to use it with LPG
I can't work out how to get the glass plate off to access the inner mechanism.
I will not be changing the jets myself I have a qualified gas engineer to do this but he can't work out how to get the top off either!

Hello, my name is George..

Remove all the burner covers and pan supports from the hob

Release the screw from the front fixing clip underneath the hob

Remove the screws from the burner ring around the wok and remove any control knobs from their respective housings

Lift from the side as in the picture below

graphic

To release the rear clips, carefully raise the entire glass panel

Please rate the assistance given & kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.

I have tried this and despite exerting considerable force the front edge will not move. I have removed the three screws holding the burner and removed the knob and the clamp screw beneath the hob. It seems to be a weird way of getting the top off as you are very much at risk of damaging the stainless steel trim and/or the glass top if you try to get a tool, however slim between them.

I was under the impression that your model did not have the trim?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Its ok George, I tried something completely different and have now got the top off. I think the problem is due to this being a new model and it has generic instructions which seem to be for older models , thanks for your help.

It is not as hard as it seems when you know what to do... Removal is pretty simple.

Please rate the assistance given by me & feel free to ask if you get stuck further into your task.
