Customer Question

We have a beko dishwasher dw686. It won't run a cycle, whichever programme we set it just makes a noise but doesn't start. Have tried switching it off for two hours and doing a manual reset. The rinse aid symbol is yellow..is that the problem?

Does the noise sound like the pump is running?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes the noise is there but nothing else is happening

It sounds like you have a very common 'overflow' problem.

Pull out the dishwasher, unplug it, and tilt it backwards to discharge any water from the base... Once this is done, plug the dishwasher in again and try it.
