My classic seems to intermittently keep resetting itself to run 80 minutes or

Resolved Question:

My classic seems to intermittently keep resetting itself to run for another 80 minutes or so today it took 8 hrs for a 175min programme

Is it resetting itself at the end of the cycle?
When its washing does it seem to be working ok still?

Generally it washes ok but when it goes in a tizzy it does not dry the crockery they are all dripping wet

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I did send a reply last night but it looks like it didnt go through.

When you use it now does the time count down to 1 and then starts off again at 80 mins?

Also when its washing now do you feel it getting hot during the wash?

It is intermittent but yes that is what happens

Hi

Ok if its intermittent then its more then likely the control board. As if it was anything else in there like the heater, pump or wash motor then it will just stop or finish but not do a certain thing. As its restarting a new cycle again then only the control board itself will cause this fault you have here.

Im afraid to fix this you will need to replace the control board and that will sort it from there.
