Hi

Thanks for that. These fridges do give us problems like this.

But if they have replaced the fan and only cleared the ice from the airflow panel then what they should have done is replace the airflow panel as they have made a kit for this model which includes a heater and new airflow panel. Im taking it its not in a certain serial numer range otherwise they will have had to fit one as the earlyer models had to be replaced.

But if this keep iceing up like this then it will need a new airflow panel and seal in the fridge section. As what will be happening is the damper in there isnt fully closing so condensation is building up in the vents and the water then runs down the vent into the freezer and collects around the fan and you get this fault.

Now again it can be a one off but if it keeps happening on yours then they need to replaced the airflow panle inside the fridge and the seal as well and fit a new airlow panel into the freezer section and this will stop it from happening again.

But the reason this is happening all the time will be the airflow panel in the fridge not closing fully causing condenstaion to form in there and block the fan and vents.

If you need anymore info just get back to me.
