Hi

When you do the reset do the lights go out?
If so how long are they out for before they start flashing again?

Regards

During reset procedure both power and alarm lights remain ON but bleep stops for 2/4 secs . Pressing super freeze button has no effect and indicator light remains OFF.

Ok the dial has broken as ive come across this a lot so when you turn the dial its not actually turning the control unit inside so isnt resetting it.

As no matter what the fault was if you turned the freezer dial to off and wait a few seconds it will turn the lights off no mater what. As the lights are not going off then the dial has snapped inside which is quite common on these as i have replaced loads of them in the past.

What you need to do is get a good pair of pilers and grab hold of the dial and pull it out.

From there look inside the hole were the dial goes and you will see the switch on the board in there.
Use a small thin flat bladed screwdriver thats insulated and insert it into the switch and turn this anti clockwise and turn it off from there.
Once the lights go out then turn it back on and that will reset the control unit from there.

Then you need to order the new dial incase it happens again then it will be easyer to reset it.

But when you reset the control with the screwdriver make sure its insualted just incase you miss it as im afraid the appliance has to be turned on to be able to reset.

Try that and see what happens. But from what you say the dial has broken inside thats why its not resetting.
