Hi, welcome to Just answer .... E90 is a communication error usually caused due to a bad control board however, try this and let me know: Switch the washer off then press and hold the start/pause and skip/reset buttons together while holding these buttons switch it back on. The washer should beep or flash, let go of the buttons and the leds should scroll.Press and release the fabrics button, slowly step through till the 2nd bot***** *****ght of the 2nd column is lit.Now the error code will be displayed ... please tell me that error code and then switch off, switch on and then switch off again.

Thanks for doing that Michael... E91 error indicates communication problem between the front and main boards ... wiring is faulty or the main board itself is bad. As you already have the top off ... make sure the washer is unplugged and check the main control board which is located toward the front right side which has blue wire ... check these wires if they are not broken or damaged.. then unplug these wires and try to clean the contacts of the board .. connect them back and then plug it back again ...if you still receive error code the problem is with one of the boards that will need replacement... a new one will cost around £130 + labor (depends on the board that will need replacement).______________________________________________________________________________________________If you have further questions I will be pleased to assist you ..
