Hi.
I've got a Vaillant Eco Tech Pro 28 Boiler. The Siemens hand held thermostat control battery died. I've changed the batteries and now that appears to be working. However, the small box on the wall, which takes interactions from the thermostat controller doesn't seem to respond. There are two lights. A yellowish green one which is on and a red one above it which is flashing?

Hi , does the receiver have a model number of any buttons on it?

It sounds like the battery unit has lost connection with the received unit and needs reconnecting.

OK . on the other box ( the reciever) is a set button . press and release this set button ,then on the controller press the learn button . the led should go from flashing green to solid green
