Hi
If you press the manual button for a few seconds does this turn the cookpot symbol off?
If not then turn the power off to the oven and wait 30 seconds.
Then turn it back on and then the timer should be flashing auto 00:00
Now set the time as it shows in the manual by holding buttons 2 and 3 from the left and at the same time press the + button and set the time.
Then see if this puts it into manual mode.
Let me know what happens from there.

Hi - done all that but the icon is still there?
Expert:  Daniel replied 1 year ago.
Hi
Ok if you have done all the above and its still not clearing it then the timer is the fault here.
In this case you have 2 choices, You can either repalce the timer or you can bypass it. If you bypass it then you cannot use any if the timer programs im afraid.
If you want to do this then you need to access the back of the timer by removing the hob top and the front panel and you need to take a picture of the wiring on the timer and post it on here.
Then i can workout how to bypass it if you want to do that way.
Other then that its a case of buying a new timer if you wanted it fixing.
But either way you will need to strip down the cooker to access this part.

Hi - looks like I'll have to call and pay for an engineer to come out. Bit annoying as the cooker is only just over a year old!! Thanks for trying though.
