Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
So you have a separate timer to the salus .the salus also is a timer/ programmer
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
we have a on off box by the boiler which is a salus and the timer is in the hall salus
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
Hi ,
OK the on off box is the reciever , as your programmable room thermostat (salus) is a wireless one. This sends a wireless signal to the on off box( reciever ) when a change is needed. So the on off box is supposed to be on all the time. Then the salus is programmed to your on and off times and the temperature settings you like.
Unfortunately this is a very complicated device and not easy to use. It might be better to get someone to install a simpler one.
But if you like we can work with this
