Hello, my name is George..
Can you tell me the model / enr of the appliance from the label on the oven surround.
Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It's a Neff built in double oven no. U1744 - there are other numbers but I think this is the model no.
Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 11 months ago.
The other numbers include an ENR and an FD.. I need those two numbers to identify the exact model of the U1744 range that you have
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
FD 8504
HBB - EP33 - 7
These are the precise no.'s from the oven label
Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 11 months ago.
Thank you for that.. The version you have is an early 2005 version.
Can you tell me which oven you are using to bake the cakes?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I use the large bottom oven.
Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 11 months ago.
Sorry for being away so long
If you are using the bottom fan oven; is the fan running? and are you pre-heating the oven before use.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I use the lower large oven

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Yes & yes
Expert:  George-Allsorts replied 11 months ago.
Cakes are meant to be baked without the fan running, but using the conventional setting only... This is the setting that uses the top and bottom elements of the oven only.
