Resolved Question:

My Bosch classixx condenser tumble dryer model WTL6106GB leaks water. I have changed the door seals and the pump seems to be working. Little water is reaching the reservoir.

Hello My name is Ian ~ I am not on the site constantly so please be patient whilst waiting for responses to you queries - first thing I would do is check that water is actually being pumped by the pump at the pipe joint on the back. Run a load with the pump pipe in a water container and see if you get any water out.

Yes water is coming out

OK now check that the pipe is clear between the pipe joint and the water container at the top.

Yes pipe is clear. I have blown up the pipe from the lower end and air is emitted freely

OK now run it with a load and tell me if the tank is filling up with water?

Yes tank has filled OK. No sign of a leak anywhere as yet, although this happened after I changed the door seals and it was dry for a couple of drying cycles. Seems that water is laying dormant somewhere and comes to light after a couple of uses. No probs. I'll have to live with it and mop up when necessary. Clothes dry OK.

Usually what happens is that the condensate pipes get blocked up and then this causes an overflow - keep an eye on it and if it leaks again come back to me.
