Double oven Nr HBM43B2.OB /08
I took off my main oven door to replace the light bulb. As I was replacing the door the hinges snapped closed before in the correct place. My door won't now go back on and I can't undo the hinges. Can you give me any advice please?
Also one off control knobs has come off and wont stay back in place.
Thank you in anticipation of a solution.
Kind regards
Jackie

Hi
When the hinges snap back like this what you need to do is lay the door down flat in front of you with the hinges at the top.
Get a tee towel and wrap it around the hinge and then you need to push it backwards.
Once pushed back you need to then try and lock them back in place with the clip you would have lifted up.
Becarefully as they can snap back on you before you get them locked in place.
Or you can use a pair of pilers instead of the towel and hold the hinge and push it back.
Once both hinges are locked in place you can then refit the door back on.
Let me know how that goes.
Regards

Nice one thought it would do it.
They can be very tight.
If you could rate the answer that would be great.

Hi
Thanks for that, It doesn't look like it has been rated. Not sure what you see, Is it stars you need to click or a green accept button.
If not don't worry as I will pass this through to the mods and they will sort it.
Many thanks
