Hi thanks for that. his is more than likely just a bad heating element. What happens is that the element will become brittle and short out eventually. Its easy to replace that part and I will help you if you need me no cost for that extended help;-)Its always possible that caused damage to the main control board but since it still works the top I doubt that is the case. The best place to get a new heating element for your oven is: http://shop.electrolux.co.uk/index.htmlSince they don't list all parts on site, I would call them to order this element: Electrolux Plc trading asElectrolux PartsPreston RoadAycliffe Industrial ParkNewton AycliffeCounty DurhamDL5 6EDCall us:01325 302464Mon - Thur:8.30am - 5.00pmFri:8.30am - 4.30pmIn any case, I will stick with you until this is complete. Please rate my service thus far.EXCELLENT (5 Stars) would be greatly appreciated. There is NO cost to rate Kindly;-)Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you..Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.Thank you and have a nice day!Tech Michael
