Hi, I have an Elica Typhoon SS kitchen extractor which has failed, after giving off a beeping sound. The fan doesn't work, and the switches are no longer illuminated. However, there is an electrical current going to each of the two fuses I can see in the PCB, and also current leaving each fuse. Have you any idea what can be the likely cause? PCB failed? Switch failed? Or fan failed?

Hi Michael,As I am not at home, I will not be able to give you full details until this evening.
The extractor is an Elica Typhoon SS, and was installed I believe in 2000. So by no means a new model! However, I am not keen on replacing it entirely, if I can get away with replacing parts. I hope you understand. I will send more details after 6pm.Richard

Lights not worked for years. Otherwise all was working ok. Beeps were very quiet.

Thanks for that ,This is a bad main control board, they can fail in a few different ways with different symptoms.
