Sorry for the delay in getting to your question it looks like the other expert has opted out.
As to the fault if this runs for a few minutes and the stops this is going to be the start relay.
If you remove the top panel and from there look on the inside behind the control panel you will see a box with a few wires going to it in the center.
This is the start relay. You need to replace this and that will cure the fault from there.
This is a very common fault on these older dryers as ive replaced loads of them over the years for this fault.
Replace the start relay and this will cure the fault from there.

No its not the start switch its the start relay that you need.
The part number for it is C00205896.
