Could you give me the full model number so that I can have a look at which lamp holder they have fitted, usually you just unscrew it anticlockwise but often the heat causes them to seize in place. The model number above is incorrect - Ian

Is this the number? HB91564GB/06 or FD8207

Spot on, give me a moment.
OK can you confirm that the lamp cover is rectangular in shape as there are two different ones fitted to this model, one round and one rectangular.

OK thank you, ***** ***** whole fitting spinning or just the bulb inside the holder?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The metal plate is moving slightly but the glass is rigidly stuck to it
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is not the bulb I have a problem with, it is the glass covering
Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 1 year ago.
OK in this case you have two options, working from the inside you can jam a thin bladed screwdriver into the casing and then try and turn the glass lamp cover OR you will have to take the appliance out of its cabinet, take the outer cover off and have a friend or family hold the holder on the outside whilst you try and unscrew the glass on the inside. I use a dishcloth to protect the glass and a pair of pump pliers to turn the cover.

Thank you. Will certainly try the first option but removing the appliance is probably more than I want to do. Thanks again.
