Our beko dishwasher seems to have an electrical fault as its triping the main RCD as soon as the plug is put into the wall socket. Any ideas why

Hi If its tripping out the electrics straight away then the most common cause of this is the heater element on this. What you need to do is pull the dishwasher out and lie it on its back.From there you need to remove the metal base.There you will see the heater cylinder there. Remove the heater wires and tape them up.Then stand the dishwasher up right and plug it back in and see if it stops the tripping. If it does then its the heater and you need to replace this. But if the heater is fine then locate near the heater you will see the wash motor. Do the same with that and see if it stops the tripping from there. Try them and see what you find. As the most common cause of this kind of fault is the heater or the wash motor so check them and see what you find. If its still tripping after all that then remove the outer door panel and inspect the wire in the door loom. As they run down the door to the underside and can sometimes break in the bend and shorts out against the cabinet. So check the above and see what you find.
