We have a Baxi FS801RS, pilot lights ok, fires up and runs

Customer Question

Hi, we have a Baxi FS801RS, pilot lights ok, fires up and runs for a few minutes, it seems to go off on the boiler thermostat then after a second or two the pilot goes out. The pump seems to be running and the raadiators start to warm. Sometimes we may get two cycles before the pilot goes out. Thanks

Does the boiler stay on longer if you turn the temperature up on the boiler?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I would say so, pump is definitely working. I have unscrewed the silver screw and I can see it turning.

The pump may be spinning, but the impeller could be broken. How far does the heat go?
Expert:  Andrew Smith replied 1 year ago.
The impeller drives the water
