Boiler will not ignite when thermostat turned up to 20 after holiday - turned down to 14

Hi, Im sorry to hear that.F75 is the pcb not acknowledging the pumping kicking in from the sensor measuring the change in pressure. Most likely cured by changing the sensor, its a known issue with the Ecotec plus range.If you are technically handy I can help you get the board and make the repair. Oh dear! As a single woman of 68, usually able to sort out these problems, it looks like I'm going to be without heating and hot water for a while. How do I check the pressure? I assume you mean the gas pressure. At the moment it's quite low in the grey area with the switch on 1. Liz

Hi Liz,you cant really check that unless your boiler is equipped with a pressure gauge, but I do not think that is the problem.Its the Printer circuit board( the controller at the boiler to blame;-( This unit will need service to fix it, any local heating repair company can fix this for you;-)I wish I had better news for you I really do.I wish you the best Liz.Have a great day anyway.Tech Michael
