OK the thermostat is held in place behind the selector switch, its just a push fit you dont have to undo the selector switch. If you gently lever off the thermostat one side at a time it will slide out of the back of the selector.

Hi be me 2 secs and I'll see
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is a steel bar over it,making it impossible to release
Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 1 year ago.
Can you send me a picture please, I see no steel bar on the diagram so either we are looking at two different components or the diagram is wrong.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
On the diagram there is the front plate then a part that appears to be the switch block front plate then the two knobs then the two themprmostat controllers and then the steel plate that I am referring to !( part no 06 9313
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I could probably remove the steel plate if I could find the way that switch block lifts out
Expert:  Dales-Electronic replied 1 year ago.
As I see it on the diagram that part is nowhere near the thermostat that you are trying to replace on the back of the selector switch - am I missing something ? Are you trying to replace the thermostat ?
