Ok if the compressor is running but its not cooling then its not a thermostat fault im afraid. Anyway there isnt a thermostat in there, This is electronic controled so it uses a circuit board instead. But as the compressor is running but no cooling then its a system fault. Either no gas in system (unlikely on this), Blockage in system or a poor pumping compressor. As the electronic is working hence the compressor is running but its not pumping the gas around the appliance hence no cooling. Im afraid for this kind of fault you need to get a fridge engineer in as this isnt a diy repair. As they will need to put there gauges on the pipe work at the back and see how much gas in there and see what pressure the compressor is pumping at. But the bad news is this isnt a cheap fix. As a new compressor is around the £250 mark. Now you can actually pick a new cooler up for £254 brand new so it isnt worth having a compressor fitted on this. But another thing as you say its since a power cut. Was it recently or was it a while ago. As they can take a few hours to start cooling once its gone off so if its only just happened then worth just keeping an eye on it and see how it goes. But if it was a while ago and the compressor is running still then im afraid the its still as above here, Sorry its not good news on this but if you need anymore info just get back to me. Regards
