I have a RB31FERNDSS Samsung Fridge Freezer and anything

Resolved Question:

I have a RB31FERNDSS Samsung Fridge Freezer and anything placed in the salad drawer has started to freeze, there appears to be no issues with the rest of the fridge/freezer operation.
What's the issue likely to be?

Hi As this is a frost free appliance then too much cold air is getting into the fridge section. Now this is either down to the air diffuser in the fridge. This is the part at opens up to allow the cold air into the fridge.Or the temperture sensor not regulating correctly or the main control board. Now if you are looking at fixing this yourself then you need to fully empty the fridge and remove the back panel in there. In there you will see the air diffuser towards the bottom. Check this isnt frozen up as this can happen. If thats all ok then refit it anc just check the temperture setting on the front and make sure its around 4 degs. If thats all ok then its either the temperture sensor itself or the control board. For this you need to access the control board and on there locate the sensor wires. These are very thin wires. You need to check them for resistance. They should be between 7K and 20K ohms.If faulty then its a sensorr fault. But if thats ok then the main control board will be the fault here. So thats the likely causes for this fault that you have here. Regards
