Resolved Question:

I have a beko wmb 81445 lw machine that starts to fill and then drain straight away without filling properly. Following guides when I depress the start button & then turn off I get code 04 12.

Hi

04 12 isnt an error code. This is the software code on the board.

Did you see an E?? code pop up before the 0412?

If you set the washer to a spin only will the pump run and will the drum turn?

Regards

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
When I turn the dial to select spin & drain it won't recognise the change & just keeps filling a little & draining from the original programme. There is an e but no number

I'm trying to attach a picture of the control panel
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 12 months ago.

have you checked the child lock isnt on?

Press and hold the quicker wash button and the anti crease button.

Hold them in for several seconds and see if it turns the lock off and allows you to alter the cycle from there.

Try that and let me know how it goes.

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
It said c lock off but can't stop the full & drain or change the cyvle
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 12 months ago.

Ok so now it it showed C off then the child lock is turned off.

So now press and hold the start button for several seconds and see if it resets it from there.

If not then turn the dial to off

Press and hold the start button and turn the dial 1 click clockwise.

Keep start button held in for several seconds then let go.

Now turn dial back off and then turn on and see its reset the control from there.

That didn't work. Sounds like it is draining but not spinning
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
It's flashing end but still doing the above
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 12 months ago.

Ok if its flashing end but still draining then this can only be the control board itself. As for it to end the cycle but still brings the pump on and wont reset itself then all it can be is the control board at fault here as thats the only thing that can cause this fault here.

Sorry its not looking like good news but if you need anymore info just get back to me.

Hi

Just wondering how you got on with the washer as the question is still open.

Do you still need help on this? If not then if you could rate the answer i gave that will close the question.

Many thanks
