my cooker is dual fuel (,gas hob, electric oven) the pasta boiled over and the ring went bang now no electrics but gas works it trips the fuse everytime I turn it on. help

Looking at the diagrams, you have likely got water into the cooling fan, or the circulation fan from the position you say the pan was in...

If you turn off the power to the appliance, you could remove the back panel and use a hair dryer to heat both of those fans to dry them out.
