My washing machine is not working - it goes through the motions of taking in some water and the cycle and then turns off as if complete, but it doesn't actually wash - no turning of the drum or rinse and spin happens. is this something I can fix easily?

Removing the motor sounds quite complicated so I will probably call someone. Shame

Its not too difficult but it does mean you have to be able to get at the washing machine and have the correct tools to do the job. Spanners and the like
