Can you let me know the full serial number of the appliance.. Once I have this I can get the documentation to look at the build of your product.

Please be patient as I am on call, so will be in and out, sometimes out for hours at a time, and therefore may not be able to answer you immediately.

My apologies for the time it has taken to get back to you.

Can you tell me if the Clock/Timer goes out at the same time?

Do the ovens also go off at the time the hob goes off?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi it's happened 4 times on all 4 occasions the ovens were on and had been on for a while on 2 of those occasions the hobs had been at the same time as the ovens and they went off on the other 2 occasions the hobs were off initially and we were unable to turn them on . The clock was working all the time.

Thanks for replying to those questions.. I needed those responses to get an image of what could possibly be going on.

Can you tell me how long the appliance has been installed in its current situation?..

Can you tell me over what period this problem has been happening?..

I suggest you check the cooling fans condition and the condition of its Thermal Cut In... From what you have described, it sounds like the top half of the appliance is getting to hot and this could be due to the fans not coming on.

Please check that first, then let me know.

The rangemaster has been in position since Sept 2013 the problem occurred approx 6 months ago I will check what you have mentioned

You are very welcome.

If this is not the cause then we can look down a different line... but the description you have given suggests that the Thermal Cutout for the Hob section has activated
