Customer Question

I m replacing an old satchwell thermostat circa 1980 with Drayton rts1 and just checked wiring and no mains voltage going to back of old satchwell , although thermostat turned heating on and off correctly . Guessing it did not need mains voltage for the satchwell . Was wired with one red live and two blacks , guessing one neutral and one control . Will the Drayton rts1 work with no voltage as replacement ?
