How old is your dishwasher?
Also were there any storms just prior to thsi issue or any powr outages?
Thanks , when you turn it on can you hear it fill or does it not even do that?
Also are you sure it has the water valve in the on position so it has a supply of water?
Ok thanks, ***** ***** there is water actually able to get into the machine via the solenoid underneath.
If there is water pressure there, then you have possibly a the wiring clip is off the solenoid( the electric valve that opens when the control board calls for water. Or that valve needs replacement.
It is easy to change if you need a new water valve I will help you all the way.
If the valve is bad, and you can check it with a meter of a test light, to see if it is getting power from the main control board.
I have been a hands on tech for over 30 years so Im pretty sure thats the problem.
The best place to get a new water inlet valve (solenoid) is: http://www.espares.co.uk/
