I have replaced the fan element on my Caple CR9220/1. The fan runs and thermostat light is on but element not working. The top and bottom elements heat up

Start by testing the continuity of the new fan element, to check its not open circuit or a short, then check your getting 230v to at the element terminals.

Assuming your not getting a voltage on the terminals it would suggest the control knob has failed.
