My zanussi lindo 1000 has a problem. It has stopped at 2 and

My zanussi lindo 1000 has a problem. It has stopped at 2 and a little light is on below it. I cannot change it. water emptied etc

Theres a few versions of that model so with you saying its stopped at 2 i assume your model has the display screen?

When you say the light is on which light is it thats lit?

The screen that shows the timer, delayed start etc then below the word 'display' there is a symbol and beside it there is a small light. Above the word start shows '2' like it still has 2 minutes to go.

Ok the symbol with the small light you see is it the picture of a pad lock?

Possibly - square divided small top, larger bottom with dot in middle of bottom

Yep thats the child lock light. You have the lock activated.

To turn this off look at the row of option buttons and between 2 of them you will see a picture of a pad lock.

Press and hold them 2 buttons for about 5 seconds and it should turn the lock off and allow you to use the dryer again.

Try that and let me know what happens
