I have a WMB91242LB and it looks as if the door catch has broken, is there an easy way to open the door (it has been drained)

Hello Benjamin, my name is George,

To open the door, follow this short procedure:

Turn off the power and unplug from the wall

Remove the lid of the appliance

Standing at the front of the appliance, reach inside, down the right hand side of the door seal to the door lock position

Feel for the pecker of the door poking through the door lock and push it towards the center of the door whilst gently opening the door from the outside

Hi GeorgeThank you for taking the time to respond, I have followed your instructions however the catch looks as if it is encased in the metal casing surrounding the machine, there looks to be an electrical switch where the catch looks to be located, I have attached a picture to show this
