Thanks for that information. This issue is a failed thermocouple.
This is a device that controls when the system will allow gas to flow based on its sensor.
If it doesn't detect correct heat, it will shut the valve off and stop the flow of gas, I guess you already knew that lol.
But anyway you need to replace that part, it should be an easy part to replace for you;-)
But I will stay with you anyway to be sure it all goes well.
