Hi, Im sorry to hear that.

When you say cutting out, do you mean the lights go out as well?

Or just the compressor?

And how old is your fridge?

Thank you

the fridge/freezer is 10 years old and the lights go out when the compressor clicks off
Expert:  Michael replied 12 months ago.

Thank you for that info. When the lights go out, how long before they come back on?

It just seems to click on and off, there is an A2 message that comes up on the control panel which according to the booklet means its overheating, hope this helps
Expert:  Michael replied 12 months ago.

Hi, thanks for that info.

But I need to knwo if the compressor will run, To check that you need to pull the fridge out from the wall, and remove the lower access panel to expose the compressor, its a black ball looking component. I need to know if its warm to the touch or cold?

That will tell me what is likely the issue.

Thank you

there is no way of pulling it out from wall its a builtin unit in our kitchen

Hi sometimes thing break, and they will need a service.

In this instance you will need to have a service tech Engineer for appliance repair to come out and do this for you.

The problem is going to be a circuit board, the main processor board that controls everything has failed.

If you could get to the back of the Fridge, I could talk you through the whole repair which is actually quite simple once you get it out from the wall, also I know the best place to get a new board for the best price and a quality circuit board.

There is no soldering needed. It simply plugs in, there are a few plugs but if you take a pic of the locations of the plugs you will have no trouble doing this one;-)

I will help anyway I can all the way through this of you feel up this fix?

Please let me know?

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.

Please rate my service kindly.

Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.

Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved.

Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.

Thank you and have a great day!
