Hi Michael,
No error lights just shuts down....then after 10 minutes or so you can start it again so it almost seems like some thermal cutout is faulty.
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
would rather stick to online chat for now
Expert:  Michael replied 9 months ago.

Hi yes that is a thermal cut off you are correct. Unfortunately this means the main drive motor likely need to be changed due to a short in the armature or stator winding's.

This is a fairly easy job to do with just basic hand tools, no soldering required either it just plugs in;-)

I will help you if you need me, the best place to get a new motor is: http://www.ransomspares.co.uk/

Its best to call them to place your order as they will ship it today to you;-)

Hello Michael,
managed to replace motor but still same problem....dryer on for minutes then cuts out
Any ideas?
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Spoke to another engineer who tells me its probably the heater element after just spending £130 on the motor!
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Eventually called engineer round as haven't heard from you!
It's the pcb.... serves me right for not calling an engineer in the first place.Every other engineer has said that the symptoms would not point towards the motor and also they very rarely have come across faulty Bosch motors
Given that I have spent £130 on a motor that I didn't need I would ask for my £20 back.
