I have a Honeywell cm900 attached to a Drayton lp522.

I have a Honeywell cm900 attached to a Drayton lp522. Unfortunately the grey wire came out when we were moving it when tiling and we can't see where to put it. Can anyone advise?

There are many ways to wire the CM900 to IP522, can you advise if the wire is between the two, and which end has become disconnected?

It is the wire between the two and it is the end going into the lp522 that is disconnected

Ok depending on the wiring standard used it may be worth checking which colours where used for the terminals from CM900, the manual for the CM900 can be found here, which shows on the right hand side of page 4 what each terminal is used for (in essence there should be 3 terminals A, B and C).

On the cm900 we have a and b. A is grey and b is black. It is the grey cable that is disconnected. C is empty

From what I can make out one of the two cables (black or grey) should be going to terminal 2 the other terminal 4, can you advise if this matches up to what you can see at your end?

The black goes to terminal four. From what I could gather from the diagrams I had come to the conclusion that it had come out of terminal 2, however the heating won't kick in

The cm900 gets a green light on it so is receiving from the wireless thermostat, although not instructing the boiler to go on
