Appliance Repair Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
It sounds like the you have a sensor fault, in most cases this is a heat sensor which triggers the filter light to come on and the machine to stop, as it thinks its overheating due to lack of air flow.
As such would look to get an engineer out to check the sensors, and replace the sensor or repair faulty wiring where required.
If you provide me with your postcode I can recommend a suitable engineer in your area.
