Hi Thank you for this.
The model number is ***** and the freezer is around 12 years old.
The seal is discoloured but there seems to be something else stopping the door closing, but I've checked the door and I can't see what is preventing the door closing.

Thank you please look at the door hinges as they may need to be replaced. Usually that is the cause of this issue on this particular model freezer.

They are easy to replace if needed, and check the door seal in the corners near the hinge side for a possible protrusion if the seal to be sure that isn't the cause ;-)

Please let me know and I will help you with this easy repair.

The best place to get the door seal, or the hinges is: http://www.ransomspares.co.uk/

Since there are thousands of different types of hinges and door seal kits, I really recommend you call to place your order this way you are sure to get the correct parts the first time ;-)

Please call Ransom spares: 0844(###) ###-####a href="http://www.ransomspares.co.uk/" target="_blank">Home » Parts » Kitchen Spares » Fridges & Freezers » Hotpoint

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.
