my washing machine has gone dead

Customer: are you there?
Assistant: No. I'm the Appliance Technician's Assistant.
Customer: ok can you help me to get my washing machine going?
Assistant: What's the make and model of your washing machine? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Bosch Classixx 6 1400 express. guess maybe 5 yrs.
Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: maybe. Depends on what needs doing
Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I don't know. It has cut out completely. there is water in the drum. there is no sign of life although the power supply is working
