Hi

In the 5 minutes it runs do you feel any heat in there?

Regards

Ok if it is heating then and the condenser and filters are all clear then im afraid the control unit is going to be the fault here.

As in these dryers there isnt much, Theres a heater and thermostat complete, Motor and control board. So as its heating up then the heater and thermostats are fine. And i assume the drum is turning then im afraid the control board will be the fault here.

But this isnt going to be a cheap fix as control boards on these are quite expensive im afraid.

Is my only option to replace the control board?
Expert:  Daniel replied 1 month ago.

Either replace the board or get a new dryer.

As you say it is heating then it will be the control board thats causing this im afraid.

How much do control boards cost and how easy are they to fit?
Expert:  Daniel replied 1 month ago.

The control board for this model is £100.

As to fitting it this isnt to bad as all you need to do is remove the top and then you can access the control board from there.

This is just wiring blocks so is a stright forward swap over from there.
