Hello

1st thing to try is closing all the air vents inside the car , as its possible that the air motion sensor inside the car is being set off by exterior wind

if this helps you can have the dealer lower the sensitivity of the sensing using a diagnostic tool

Hello Barry

OK next check that all of the door switchs and hatchback switch will turn the interior light off when closed

so this is with the alarm off

if there's 1 switch that doesn't seem to effect the light then thats the problem

Hi Matt the alarm is still going off, I might have to find a auto electric tomorrow.

Hello Barry

you could try turning off the inside sensors- its the button near the fuel flap

Its also worth checking the front service flap on the bonnet is fully closed.

if thats OK then its very possibly the internal battery in the alarm unit/ siren

this has a life of about 10 years and the entire unit has to be replaced
