Electric power steering not working after accident

Hi!electric power steering is not working after accident.airbags and seatbelts refitted.checked all data and faults with vag software.it is showing that there is no power supply to power steering motor. suspecting battery overload trip switch is faulty and it's blocking the electric power steering. .car still starts and drives?how could you help me?thank you

4 wheel alignment was done before checking electric faults

Also brake system is showing that coding is not correct?

Is it all related to baterry overload switch?

The battery was removed in the bodyshop.
