Hi..there.. There is no manufacturer specified time or mileage intervals for timing chains unlike timing belts unless the engines in the area of 150,000-200,000miles where its would be advised or recommended..the reason for that is that chains tend to last longer..the only time a chain would require replacement is through the chain stretch or guide wear normally caused by lack of servicing an oil supply issue..this in turn can cause a cam(s) and crank alignment issue or shift in timing depending on the stretch..this will obviously cause the engine light to flag up and store codes related..also if there is slack? then you would hear it under first start or during as and when the engine has got the temperature..apart form long as the engine properly serviced regularly the you shouldnt really need to worry about the chain
