i have tenants who is being evicted in 2 weeks and have not

Customer Question

i have tenants who is being evicted in 2 weeks and have not paid rent for 6 months.

one tenant is working in a stable job.

pre action protocol has been followed by a debt collection agency.

can i lodge a ccj on one tenant who is working so that i can proceed with a attachment to earnings and petition for bankruptcy on the other tenant who is not working. although i may not get any money back from that tenant the would face the hassle of being made bankrupt. i am aware of the cost involved and would be happy to pay this.

can i chase the debt in this way ?

Many thanks
