I have received a 'Notice of Issue of Warrant of Control'

Customer Question

I have received a 'Notice of Issue of Warrant of Control' for an old credit card debt. The total to pay is £12,739.78 and I cannot afford to pay this. The Warrant threatens that bailiffs will call to seize goods. The only goods I have that could be of significant value is a car which I use for my own self-employed work (which I understand in these circumstances cannot be seized). What should I do when the bailiffs call. The Warrant was posted to me on 24th August (second class post) but I only received it yesterday.
